[Job] Ph.D. Student at the University of Delaware

December 31, 2023

We are seeking a fully funded Ph.D. student to join Prof. Mi-Ling Li’s group at the University of Delaware to assess human exposure to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) via seafood consumption. The project specifically focuses on contaminant exposures of recreational and subsistence fishers and will offer opportunities to work with the fishing communities in the field. The research product has direct policy implications for public health. The student will develop analytical chemistry skills in the laboratory and strong quantitative skills. Applicants with prior experience in environmental science or exposure sciences or equivalent education is required. Students with some quantitative skills (e.g., Bayesian analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, machine learning, etc.) are preferred but not required. For more information, or to apply, please contact Dr. Mi-Ling Li ([email protected]).
