[Webinar] PFAS: Some Basics

Linda Gaines, US EPA will present Historical Uses of PFAS. The presentation will show Linda’s extensive research and divide the uses known to have led to environmental contamination from those not confirmed as known sources.
Ian Ross, CDM Smith will present Broad Spectrum PFAS – Detecting Precursors. Ian will discuss how to understand per versus poly fluoroalkyl substances, the influence of manufacturing method, precursor transformation, and the importance of getting the full picture. Analytical methods and examples will be discussed.
