"Amid growing concerns over PFAS contamination, a resource fair was held in downtown Cadillac at the Farmers Market, bringing together various groups dedicated to finding solutions for the community's water quality issues.

"Today our goal is to create a space for solutions here in Cadillac surrounding our water quality," said Mary Galvanek of Cadillac Advocates for Clean Water. "We are bringing PFAS remediation companies, testing, filtration companies, right here with our health department, MSU extension, the Herring Township and City of Cadillac municipalities, and many others."

Among the participants was Cyclopure, a filtration company from Chicago."
