Maine uses PFAS fund to cover blood tests for exposed residents

"Along River Road in Benton, Maine, families connected by contamination.

Mike DeRoche says that his water is laced with high levels of forever chemicals known as PFAS.

"Unfortunately, there was a decade or two where myself and my family were drinking the water," DeRoche said.

It leached into the wells from a practice the state once sanctioned as safe."
