"The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) hosted a public information session and open house on Thursday, November 7, 2024 to provide an overview of the state’s settlement and public-health protection work stemming from pollution caused by the Solvay Specialty Polymers facility in West Deptford. The settlement requires Solvay to clean up the site and surrounding area and provides over $100 million for remediation projects, especially for potable water treatment."
