EPA Seeks Data on PFAS-Generating Plastics Process to Shape Rule

"The EPA is asking companies and the public for information about a plastic-strengthening process that can create PFAS, so the agency can decide whether and how to regulate the production of such plastics.

The Environmental Protection Agency issued a notice on Friday asking for public comment and information about the number, location, and uses of fluorinated containers in the US, including uses of those containers that are critical to the national economy, national security, or essential products like medical devices."
