"As President Trump and Republicans look to slash spending, Maine's efforts to address "forever chemicals" have been dealt a blow.
The Trump administration is canceling $15 million in grants for research into forever chemicals.
Maine has been a leader in regulating PFAS and is the first state to require manufacturers to report intentionally added forever chemicals in products."
