[Public comment] Massachusetts DEP: PFAS Maximum Contaminant Level Proposed Amendments & Public Comment

On December 13th, 2019, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) proposed regulations to develop drinking water standards for PFOA, PFOS, PFNA, PFHxS, PFHpA, and PFDA. This regulation will include creating Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCL) for all six PFAS at a combined level of 20 nanograms per liter ((ng/l) or parts per trillion (ppt)). MassDEP will be accepting public comments on the proposed regulations from December 27, 2019, until February 28, 2020. For more information, visit the state website.
