Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a novel entity that threaten public health due to their environmental persistence and global contamination. Interdisciplinary collaboration can address this crisis, incorporating governance, scientific, corporate, and community action. We present US perspectives on multi-scalar, multi-stakeholder solutions to protect human and environmental health.
