U.S. Congress: H.R. 1567, the "Prompt and Fast Action to Stop Damages Act of 2019

Rep. Lujan, Ben Ray (D-NM) introduced H.R. 1659. the "Prompt and Fast Action to Stop Damages Act of 2019" on March 6, 201. The bill would authorize the Department of Defense to provide clean uncontaimianted water for agricultural purposes to areas affected by PFOS and PFOA contamination from military installations. In addition, the Secretary of the Air Force may purchase land around Air Force bases to act as a buffer zone where known PFOS or PFOA contamination has occurred.
